Jamal Morrow, WSU football player, faces Washington DUI charges

A running back for the Washington State University football team is in hot water after being arrested on the morning of Jan. 17, according to local sources. Jamal Morrow was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. He now faces DUI charges. He was scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Jan. 19, and it is unknown if he will face disciplinary action from his school or team as well. 

Hotel owner in Washington faces DUI charges

A prominent hotel owner has been once again arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to local sources. Phil Lovingfoss has been arrested by Washington authorities for DUI charges in the past, with this incident being the latest. He is believed to have been under the influence of prescription medication at the time of his arrest. 

Accident in Washington leads to drunk driving charges

A driver in Lewis County is facing serious charges after an accident on Interstate 5 on Dec. 3 led to his arrest. Washington authorities arrested the 36-year-old man, who now faces drunk driving charges as well as assault and vehicular assault charges pertaining to the crash. He made his first court appearance the following day and was due back in court as of Dec. 7. 

Driving under the influence possibly contributed to fatal crash

A 30-year-old man is facing charges following a fatal accident on State Route 16, according to local sources. The man is facing vehicular homicide charges filed by Washington law enforcement after he allegedly rear-ended a vehicle operated by a 71-year-old man, resulting in his death. Police do believe that driving under the influence may have contributed to this tragedy.

Man arrested in Washington on drunk driving charges

A man believed to have been drunk behind the wheel has been detained and charged, according to local sources. Washington police arrested the man after he reportedly drove 14 miles in the wrong direction on Route 3 on the night of Nov. 1. The 23-year-old man faces drunk driving charges, as well as reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He could lose his license and face jail time and heavy fines if convicted. 

Washington police officer faces DUI charges

An officer in Everett has been charged following a rollover crash, according to local sources. The Washington police lieutenant is facing DUI charges after an Aug. 25 accident in which the man apparently rolled his truck and trailer. The 60-year-old veteran is currently the subject of an internal departmental investigation, and is not currently working in his capacity as the head of the investigations division.

Washington man charged with driving under the influence

A rollover crash in Clark County has prompted local law enforcement to arrest a man under suspicion of drunk driving, according to news sources. Washington State Police arrested the 48-year-old man following the single-car accident. Thankfully no one else was harmed in the crash, but the man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana and driving with a suspended license. 

Washington driver faces DUI charges

A woman was arrested following a car crash near Packwood on Sept. 5, according to local authorities. Washington police arrested the 39-year old driver, who now faces DUI charges in addition to allegations of methamphetamine possession. As of this report, the woman was due back in court on Sept. 17. 

Wrong-way driver faces drunk driving charges in Washington

Three people were hurt in a car accident police are blaming on a possible drunk driver, according to local sources. Washington police arrested a 24-year-old man after a head-on crash they believe was predicated on the man being intoxicated behind the wheel. While official drunk driving charges have not yet been filed, they are pending, according to law enforcement.
